John 8:12---- "Then Spake Jesus again unto them saying, 'I am the light of the world. He that follow me shall not walk
in darkness, but shall have the light of life.'"
Now, when it talks about "Light" it does not just mean visible light, in fact visible light is only given
as an example of the mystical dark light. Sounds like an oxymoron- "dark light" but it is dark in that it is unseen, it encompasses
all of wisdom and knowledge, and is every evidence of truth. This is the knowledge permeating the universe, being a
part of the manifesting omnipresent God. It is said God dwells in the thick darkness and causes the light to shine out
ot darkness. Jesus is the light of the world, not just a transfigured glow on the mountain, but the vast storehouse
of all the Wisdom of the eternal One, the Ancient of days. For the Lord possessed Wisdom in the beginning of his way,
before his works of old, from the beginning before the earth was created. Wisdom with the Lord and of the Lord is the
light of all things by which creation is brought to being, yet in its essence, This "light" dwelt darkly, for darkness was
upon the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the Waters. At that time God said "Let htere
be light" and there was light- yet prior there was light hidden in darkness awaiting its manifest birthing into visible/ tangible
radiance~ not just the brilliance of Starlight, and the light of energy forms, but the esoteric brillence of the light of
God's Wisdom, unfolding itself, spreading through every corner of the creation, indeed, without this " dark light" would nothing
be, for it is by this light which God hold all things physical and spiritual together.
"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of Darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light
of the Knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ"~ (2 Corinthians 4:6) This light of knowledge dwells
in us if we have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. At times this hidden light will manifest as a shine or glow on our
faces, radiating an aura that can be seen by others. This is comparable to what happened to Jesus when he prayed during
his transfiguration on the Mountain (See Luke 9:29) and also what happened to Moses face in Exodus 34:29-35. Here there
is an external manifestation of the inner light, the "dark light" which is "veiled", hidden to those who are spiritually lost.
But those who are open, awakened to these truths and born again by the Spirit, these shall behold the light in all its glory. "And
they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament, and they that turn many to rightousness as the stars for
ever and ever"~ (Daniel 12:3)
